GYPC R&D center covers a total area of 1770 square meters, equipped with an oil field chemical development lab, a product pilot test lab, an oil field chemical application technology lab, an EOR polymer development lab, and a stimulation technology of oil-gas recovery development lab. The labs are located in Xindu campus of Southwest Petroleum University, and Nanchong campus of Southwest Petroleum University, respectively.

GYPC has also created basic experiment platforms and application technology platforms, including polymer synthesis and analysis, operating fluid performance evaluation, physics simulation test, and so on.

Those in all provide GYPC good experimental condition and technology supports for oil field chemicals development, performance evaluation, and the application technology study.
